How Law Enforcement Uses Technology

PENSACOLA - ITGULFCOAST, an Information Technology Association for the Gulf Coast, will hold their regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 27, at the Pensacola State College Main Campus (Bldg 17, Room 1716).  Guest speaker will be Chris Rawson from CTS America (aka SmartCOP). He will discuss how law enforcement benefits from and uses technology.

Have you ever wondered how law enforcement agencies get critical information so quickly or how they communicate through all the various departments and remain effective?

Join Chris Rawson, project manager at CTS America, as he discusses the workflows of an everyday incident (or call for service), the working environment and key software technology that improves the process.  He will describe how software technology has helped improve safety, situational awareness, force multiplication (the enhancement of limited recourses). Chris will discuss the development of Law Enforcement Mobile Computer Terminal software solutions that increase efficiency, improve response times, and expand officer and citizen safety.
